Tuy Theary
Tuy Theary is 26 years old and lives in Phnom Penh with her husband and their 2 young children. Tuy Theary rents a home and earns $2/day, while her husband rents cars and earns $17/day. Tuy Theary will use this loan so that her family can own another car to rent out. As her husband's business continues to grow, their family would like to keep purchasing cars for rental and eventual sale. Theary is confident that she will be able to send her children to university, and she hopes one day they can build a brand new home.

Kiva - Loans that change Lives
If you haven't heard of Kiva you really should check i out.
Kiva lets you connect with and loan money to unique small businesses in the developing world. By choosing a business on Kiva.org, you can "sponsor a business" and help the world's working poor make great strides towards economic independence. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates from the business you've sponsored. As loans are repaid, you get your loan money back!
Now you can withdraw your money or lend it to someone else! Totally awesome! :)
